~ Bird In Flight ~

I want to soar like a bird in flight   To spread my wings, so free and light

  I'd catch a breeze and ride it high    If I could just believe to fly.

But no matter how hard I try to soar, I'm still grounded,  just as before.

I stumble on earth and wonder why Things are so hard since I can't fly.

But you lift me up and make me see That with your strength, a bird I'll be.

        We'll fly together, you and I            On cloudless days across the sky.

The sunshine reigning on our faces Taking us to quiet places

Leaving all our cares below Together we can make it so.

Come hither, come nigh.

Don’t just pass on by.

Don’t shut me out

Don’t walk away

Stop where you are

And tell me you’ll stay.

I can’t take the suffering.

I can’t take the pain.

It’s like being left out

In a cold, hard rain.

I want to be warm

I want to be dry

I want a strong shoulder

On which I can cry.

A hand to hold,

A smile to share.

A wink of the eye

To show that you care.

To be held, To be touched,

Is that asking too much?

Come hither, come nigh

Just don’t pass me by.

Tears on the outside fall to the ground and slowly fade away

Tears on the inside fall on the soul and stay and stay and stay

It's a pity, it's a shameAfter all this timeyou're still the same.

The way you've acted,you said you'd change...Spread out your life and rearrange.

Time's gone by and you're still the same.It's a pity, it's a shame.

At night when I lay in my bed, My comfy pillow greets my head

It pacifies and soothes me so Unlocks my dreams and lets them go.

They take me to another place Sometimes very far

I want to stay inside my head Where dreams of wonder are.

They dance upon my brain. They tip-toe on my heart

They sneak in where they weren’t before To any hidden part.

Night time is a magic timeWhere thoughts can make you smile

They take you on a wonderous journey To linger for awhile. :-)
