Tracker's Favorite Carp Recipe

The following recipe is an old family favorite, handed down over many generations of the Randle family. We didn't have a lot when I was growing up, so on those days when there wasn't any fresh road-kill to be found, and the bass and trout weren't biting, Pa would send me down to the ole settlin' pond, and I would scrape the scum off the top of the water so I could drop a line in. It usually wasn't too hard to catch a carp there, because as soon as you opened up a hole in that crust, the critters would come up gasping for air !

Sooo.... if your real hungry, and there ain't no fresh roadkill to be found, settle back and cook up a nice carp !!

ENJOY !!!

You will need the following ingredients:

1 carp , any size and uncleaned

1 bag of pork rinds

1 pine board (as big as the carp)

1 tbs salt

4 cans of "Pabst Blue Ribbon" beer

1 willow stick

1 fillet knife

After you have gathered all the items mentioned above, take the whole carp, lay it on the pine board, and put it in the oven at 400 degrees.

While you are waiting for the fish to cook, eat the pork rinds, drink the beer, and whittle on the willow stick.

When the beer is all gone, remove carp from oven, throw it into the garden, then EAT THE BOARD !!
