Stan arrowed this heavy beamed beauty while hunting a hot scrape during the peak of the rut. He was amazed at how many different bucks were using the same scrape, but this fellow was definately the most dominant of the bunch. This buck probably would have dressed out over 200 lbs., had the coyotes not found the deer first ! His decision not to trail it till the next morning was a good one, however the areas' yodel dogs feasted on much of the hindquarters overnight !

Doug's Buck

This buck earned the nickname of "The Prince" and was often seen traveling with an even BIGGER buck ! That was before my brother Doug shot him during Delaware's muzzleloader season.

Three Bucks

Stan and I pose with three nice Adirondack bucks taken from our camp on one weekend during the rut.
