Ron Hess aka WYOWHITETAIL got this prize 10 point on the last day of bow season. 
Ron Hess aka WYOWHITETAIL with his 254 lb. buck that grossed 159-5/8 and ended up 151-5/8 missing the Wyo. state record for archery by 2 pts. It was still the largest buck bow killed in the state in 12 yrs. It went in the Pope and Young record book at #1410 all time.

I grunted this one to a stop at 70 yards, but he wouldn't come in. A doe took off behind me and the buck came in at a dead run. He stopped at 15 yards and I sent one on through him. I used a Jennings Mag T set at 60 lbs. with 2216 XX75, tipped with 125 gr. Thunderhead. Harvested in the Kittanning, Pennsylvania area on the 3rd of 
November 1998 at about 5PM.
