Otto be a Bow

This thing has been hanging in exactly this position, untouched for 3 months!

December 27, 2004 (OK so it's not 2005 yet, sue me)

Here she is at brace

Drawn to 22".  She weighs about 50# at that draw.  I'm shooting for 55# at 27".
Tiller is not horrible here but that right (lower) limb needs to catch up with the left (upper) a bit.  There's a little stiff spot at the dip in the upper limb too.  We'll deal with both a little bit now witht he rasp.

That right limb is a bit stubborn but we'll move from the rasp to the scraper so we don't turn this 55# bow into a 45#er :)
The upper limb looks pretty nice but still a bit stiff.

Getting closer now.  The upper lmb is longer by 1.5" so it won't have quite the arc.  Still, it is stiff in the midlimb.  I'll give her a
few scrapes there and 10 along the length of the lower and we'll see where we are.

Here she is bent to 26".  I'm right at 55# there.  Tiller is not bad.  I'm going to scrape her all out and see where I am and
then fine tiller a bit after shooting her for a while.

Here's the finished product.
