Here's a bow I made for a trade with
Calvin "Madpigslayer" Peters from Alberta, Canada
Specs are:
Osage Selfbow in a deep-cored longbow
stlye
68" NTN
A touch over 1" wide
50# at 28"

It's got copperhead skins on the back and a wrapped handle.
Floppy arrow rest.

Here she is at full draw. She gives just a touch in the
handle. Tips are pretty stiff so she draws ultra-schmoove.
Nice mannered bow after the release too. Almost no follow right
off the string.

Calvin killed a pig or two down in Florida last year, hence his name.
I named this bow "Cha-yah-jus Sho-ke" which according to a Seminole
language website approximates "I want pig".
Of course, that could be complete pig-crap and I could be cussing him
out in Swahili for all I know :)

Here's Pigboy's sight window.

My 4 year old Lainey saying "Hi Hailey" which is Calvin's daughter.

Since it's unlawful to kill squirrels in Alberta, I thought I'd try to
get Calvin in trouble with this squirrel tail Windicator.
As an extra bonus, I made Calvin
this snaky arrow.

It's osage with a few kinks added with a heatgun.

Got a snake head tradepoint.

I wrapped the crown with some of the snakeskin trimmings from the bow
before adding the turkey secondaries reinforced with sinew wraps.
She's self-nocked but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't shoot really well
unless you were going around a couple corners.
