John's 1998 Elk Hunt

Here's a couple of photos of my elk hunt in 1998 in the Flattops Wilderness Area in Colorado. We had a great time but struck out on the elk. We're going back in 2000 with a lot more knowledge and much more confience. We'll get 'em this time.

This is me on the shore of a picturesque alpine lake. I won't tell you which one...hehehe.

And here's Kenny in the same spot...sorta.

We caught quite a few trout that day. Our main camp was on another lake that held 20"+ cutthroats :-)
