   Howdy this is the Ole Capt's Bowhunting Page. There will be information, stories, and
pictures of Deer harvested here. I have been bowhunting since 1970.  I am located in Central Arkansas at the end of the world.  Georgetown is a small town on the bank of the White River, the river boarders one side and the Henry Gray/Hurricane Lake WMA boarders the other 3 sides. The  Wild Life Management Area covers approx. 7,000 acers of River bottoms and hardwood timber. I do alot of deer hunting with a bow, and alittle with a gun. I also train Rat Terriers for Squirrel hunting.
This year our seasonal bag limit on Deer is 4.  You can take 4 Doe but the bag limit cannot have more than 2 legal Bucks.  A legal buck in our state must have at least 3 points on one side. On the Henry Gray/Hurricane Lake WMA a legal Buck must have at least 4 points on one side. A point has to be at least 1 inch in length.
