I am so very pleased with these beautifully designed and worded awards. It is exactly how I would hope my site would strike folks. I can't thank you enough, Deerman and I certainly hope there will be longevity to my full enjoyment of your very welcome awards. However long it may be, rest assured they are extremely meaningful to me.

Ravenhair's Web Excellence Award,
Ravenhair's Spirit Of The Heart Award
"Hope You enjoy the 2 awards. Thank you so much for applying. I am honored," was the accompanying quote from Debra Hensley AKA Ravenhair. Ravenhair is the wife of Deerman and is proudly a Native American of the Cherokee Nation. She is also the webmaster of a fantastic website dedicated to information about Native Americans. Further she designed all of the awards they present and does other graphics as well.
From: Ravenhair's Welcome Page (and link to her Native American Website)
This talented lady is honored that I applied? Honored to honor me and my site? I am humbled by the generosity and meaning of her awards. I coveted the Spirit Of The Heart Award from the moment I saw it. The reason is twofold. First I truly hope I have and show spirit of the heart in what I say, what I write, and what I do. Also there is convincing evidence that our Irish immigrant forebears on at least two occasions chose strong Native American ladies as their wives and life mates and similarly on my mother's (English) side. We Dunn(s) have all always proudly claimed our traces of that blood and influence. I can but fervently hope that my website and I honor the awards. Thank you, Ravenhair.

"Congratulations!! You have won the '2002 Humming Good Page' Award in recognition of all your hard work in creating your page." This is the wording of the awarding message. Also to qualify your website must meet certain standards, primarily regarding common sense, decency, and good behavior on the internet.
From: Orchid Lady's Personal Page Webmaster Linda
OK, I really love this award from a lady who has a large and wonderful site (full of wonders - including catfishing). As can be seen in my gallery pics, Rose and I also love humming birds (all birds) and the flowers that attract them. Ever since I was a little kid I've thought I was related to Ferdinand The Bull (Remember him - all he wanted to do was spend his time smelling the flowers.) You can read more about Linda's site in my Hot List Table of Links. Further, I really like the wry good humor of the designation on the Award itself. A bouquet of thanks to you, Orchid Lady for both your site and this most welcome award to my site.
Date Awarded: January 16, 2002
Award presentation reads: "What a truly wonderful site. You have a great sense of humor and it comes through. I loved reading about your pets...they are great. I am sending our Website Excellence Award for the wonderful way you put your site together. Very easy to navigate. Happy day to you and your family."
From: BK Graphics & Design Webmaster Brenda Kay Followell
Once you make a visit to this highly talented lady's website(s) (mini-sites within a site) it will be no wonder why this award makes me very proud. Rather than apply for one of the numerous great ones they have, I told Brenda I would rather she decide what my site might deserve (I like that way better) after "it spoke to her". What a satisfying feeling that she chose this prestigious animated one (and her wording) to compliment my site. I also appreciate the comment about the navigation, as that is a big thing to visitors and designers alike and I've been wondering how my plan struck other folks. Thank you, Brenda Kay of "The Followells".

This Award is one of many beautiful and interesting award graphics made and offered by Jimmy Pilkington. Jimmy has about five sites of his own but the awards are offered on his Hunters Best Links site. That site is designed to locate and freely promote good hunting links for hunters and other interested parties. He also has a site the main purpose of which is as a tribute to all servicemen - very nice. Jimmy asks that webmasters choose their own award/graphic so that it will be pleasing to us and our individual viewer/readers. I chose this one and I hope you like it as well as I do. Thank you, Jimmy for your hard work, great results, and most welcome award.
From: Hunters Best Links - Jimmy Pilkington, webmaster
Jimmy's requirements for award consideration are: No nudity or vulgarity, lack of profanity, A good route (throughout the site), and that the information be accurate. He said that any site made by a veteran, like mine, would be honored at his site. Thanks again, Jimmy.
Date Awarded: April 30, 2002
(Because) "your web page is top-notch and is deserving of any award." High praise from the webmaster of a very fine club web page.
From: Rattlin' Racks Hunting Club - Andy Johnson, Webmaster
I appreciate all awards my pages are given for the many reasons I've given. Let me say too that I really like these "club" awards as they mean more perspective viewers/readers just in the clubs alone, never mind their friends, relatives, etc. I hope they also will in turn realize additional visitors - please visit their sites. I also think the deer pictures used in these recent awards are beautiful and add pleasure to these pages. Thank you for this honor, RRHC and Andy.

Faith e-mailed, "I am sending you our award because you definitely deserve it. Your sight is breathtaking." Further, "...just loved your web site. Very intriguing and so full of warmth and laughter."
From: G & L Hunting Club of Arkansas - Faith (aka Lady Whitetail Hunter), Webmaster
Such descriptive comments accompanying an award mean so very much to this ol' hoss. (See - they do read before awarding!) Faith is a woman for all seasons - not just a lady hunter but a "people too". Having devoted three years to the service of our country in the Army, she returned to Arkansas to join the Air National Guard and stayed until full retirement - how's that for service above and beyond? Now she is fixing to graduate with a Associate Of Arts (majoring in Criminal Justice) degree this fall and go on next year for a four year joust with the education system to attain her BA and MA degrees. Whew, what dedication! On top of all this she has designed and runs a most impressive club web site for her hunting club, replete with pictures that any/all hunter(s) or people will enjoy. I am full of gratitude for your club (and personal) award being bestowed on my endeavors, Faith.
