Welcome to My Photo Album
This has to be one of the most impressive bucks I have ever seen. He is a 6 X 6
has a full 28 inch inside spread and is almost perfectly symettrical. Taken
by Lloyd Lintott near Sydney Manitoba. Scores 182 Pope and Young.
Another fantastic Manitoba buck. This guy is a 5 X 5 and scores 158 Pope and Young.
What he lacks in mass he more than makes up for it in height. Taken by Rick Poulin
near Sydney Manitoba.
Check out the mass on this one. He is a 5 X 5 and scores 162 Pope and Young. Taken by Randy Bean in the great deer hunting province of Manitoba.
Although Rick broke down and used a rifle on this one, it has to be the one of the best looking bucks I have seen. It has everything, mass, height, width and it weighed in at over 300 pounds.
If the drop tines on this buck would have gone up instead of down, it would have been a 180 to 190 class buck. You really have to see this one to believe it. I don't think I have ever seen a more symmetrical set of antlers anywhere. And that even includes the drop tines.
This is the old grey ghost I took in Manitoba. Figured him to be 12 years old. See Manitoba Journal. Buddy Rick says he was, half deaf, half senile, and half blind. We still have a good laugh over this one. 132 Pope and Young
This is the little guy Rick took on the last evening of our hunt. (Check out Manitoba Journal) Scored 118 Pope and Young. Not bad for a last minute buck.
These two young men (Ryan and Jamie) spent about five minutes in the bush to harvest this deer. They won't know how lucky they really were, for a long time. The buck scored 158 Pope and Young. It would have been well over 160 if the main beam on the right side wouldn't have been broken.
This twenty inch black bear was taken using the methods outlined in: So You Want to Bowhunt Black Bears. John and his buddies saw seven bears before he arrowed this monster.
My favourite picture of a black bear.
My buddy Bill Convery, of The Kanata Archery Club, arrowed this coyote at the request of the landowner. Apparently the coyotes were chasing the cattle around.
