Travis' 150 Class Idaho Buck

Travis Bodily took this nice buck in one of the Clearwater Units in northern Idaho in 1999. Travis and his boss were hunting together and jumped this nice buck out of heavy brush at 20 yards. Travis' boss got off the first shot and missed; at 70 yards Travis shot with his Browning 30-06 and dumped the buck in his tracks. The buck grossed 157 7/8 and was the top buck taken during the 5 day hunt. The 5 man group as a whole had a great hunt, everyone getting at least a shot, and the bucks taken ranged from 137 to Travis' 157.
