Mexico and the Macho Ranch Produce Another One

Rusty Walker of Portland, Texas was hunting the Macho Ranch in the state of Coahuila, and arrived late one afternoon after all the other hunters had gone out. Not knowing where everyone was, he decided to sit on a tank (pond) about 100 yards from camp. This fine buck came running in trailing a doe and as they say, "it was a short hunt..!" All of the hunters were quite surprised to see this 9 pointer hanging on the rack. He has a 24" spread, 26" mainbeams, 5" H-1s, and grosses in the high 150s.

How many times have you heard that someone didn't want to hunt close to the house because all the big ones are in the back pasture or thickest cover? One more time it's proven that bucks in the rut are totally unpredictable..!
