Hi, my name is Ross Geoghegan. I am an Australian Bowhunter. I live in Geelong, which is about 50 miles SW of Melbourne in the State of Victoria.

I have been involved in Archery for about ten years. In that time I have managed to take only a few game with the bow. Most of my success has been with a compound , but a couple of years ago I switched to a longbow. A very different method of hunting.

I am a member of the Australian Bowhunters Association and on the National Executive. I hold the position of International Liaison Officer. So this site in actually an international relation.

I have had contacts with a number of American archers on the Bowhunting.net chat room. This confirmed my suspicions that bowhunters the world over are very similar. We love to talk bowhunting and are quick to offer help to those in need.

I look forward to a long association with all the bowhunters in cyberspace that visit this humble under construction site. I will endeavor to improve it as my skill level increases and time permits.
