2003 2003's hunting adventure takes me to Newfoundland on a quest for trophy Caribou and/or Moose with Efford's Hunting Adventures. This trip was arranged through Michael Morton of Christian Bowhunting Adventures.

Newfoundland, CanadaIf Ern and Joyce Clouter are any example, Newfoundland's greatest resource is it's people. "Ern" was my guide and his wife, Joyce, was the cook for my week's stay in this great place October 4th thru 11th, 2003. I can't imagine ever meeting two finer people! October 4th was a travel day that started at 4:00 a.m. Three flights out of Philadelphia, PA via Toronto, and St. Johns led me to Gander, Newfoundland and an overnight stay. As prearranged, my outfitter had me picked up at 10:30 a.m. on the 5th for the 2 hour drive to Bay D'Espoir where I learned that I was to be the first person ever to hunt from Efford's newly established "Drive In Location."
