"The Silence Of The Hams"

Yeah, Right !!!!!!

Final preparation and practice as the Bowsite Crew gets to know each other upon arrival at Clarkrange, TN.

20 yds. was enough for most, but there was also a challenge for those wanting to take a longer shot !

Roger Yenn And Saturday Night's Dinner Stalk
3/12/04
I arrived with my hunting partner Jim Haas at Clarkrange Friday about 11:00 am. Johnny Thompson, myself and Jim Haas hit the woods and within one hour we had our meat hog for Saturday evenings dinner. CAT volunteered his service of cooking the hog for the twenty bowhunters for MHHVII. We chased the hog from the Pine Bluff area to Pennicuff Ridge. Four of our dogs bayed the hog for a 12 yard shot. The new Razorcap broadhead found its mark and thus yielded our meat hog for all to enjoy.

Friday evening we were all treated to venison stew and venison lasagna courtesy of Roger Yenn and Jim Haas and the customary "Magnificent Hawg Hunt Speech" was delivered by Roger Yenn and Rob Williams. This event also included each of us introducing ourselves to the wingnuts and wannabees.

Cat ( Rob Williams ) also placed on view the check seen below which represents the proceeds from the collection from all Bowsiters in tribute to Lumpy ( Mike Williams ) and Tennbow ( Jeff Coggins ) who passed away during the preceding year.

The camaraderie continued into the night in various fashions. Talking, snacks, laughs, poker, and good spirits finished off the evening before " # 7."
