First day of rifle buck season in the Pocono Mountains. I harvested my
first deer, a small racked six point buck. Shortly after first full daylight
this one and another buck approached from my right at approximately 40
yards and stood still broadside for what seemed an eternity. It wasn't until
he turned that I saw the antlers. I put him down with one shot to the back
of the neck.
